RVFD Firefighters work 48-hour shifts and the fire
station is like a home away from home. They eat
meals, workout, and perform training exercises
together at the fire station when they are not
providing a direct service to the public. When they
are shopping for their shared meals they have their
radios and are ready to respond to an emergency
should the public need their assistance.
Our administrative office is open Monday-Friday,
8am-5pm. Our suppression staff is on duty
24/7/365. If you are trying to reach our staff and
there is no answer, it is likely due to the fact that
we're in a meeting, out on an emergency call or
training nearby. If you have an emergency,
please call 911.
